I was 17 years old when I drew this. I used a Bic and a Lamy ballpoint pen. This drawing took exactly 28 days to complete. I spent 8 hours a day, 7 days a week, creating miniature cross-hatch patterns with the ballpoint pen, hoping not to get a splotch of ink that would ruin it (this happens frequently). My suggestion, keep a napkin handy, and ditch the pen if it does not run or if it is too runny. Losing your drawing is more expensive than losing your pen!
